Ugh. A crappy day. Katie started out being sick. Amy stayed home for what I thought would be a half day out (she loses $180 per day when she is sick, and has missed twice already this month). I raced to Dallas for a hearing, got lost in the Courthouse, and barely got to the hearing on time (no, I'm not an idiot -- the court moved the hearing without bothering to post a sign, so it took a few minutes to find the proper place). We won, however, so that was fun.
Then I RACE home (90 mph+ in traffic) so Amy can get back to work before 11:30am (the cutoff for missing only a half day) only to find Amy had told them she was taking the whole day off.
Then the aches, pains, and fatigue set in. Plus Katie threw up some more, so school tomorrow looks iffy at best. Oh well.
Bush released his campaign ads today. They're pretty harmless, but the Donk's are already screaming about him doing it. Typical. If they could find a picture of John Effin' Kerry hauling the bleeding body of some poor slob injured due to Kerry's poor command decisions, it would be playing 24/7 on CNN and the big three.
Bush shows a total of six seconds (and that is being generous) of shots from the events of 9-11 -01 and he is somehow desecrating the memories of the dead.
Excuse me while I go puke.
